Caring for children at risk
The Michael Project is a ministry of Greystone Park Christian Fellowship in Harare. They care for orphaned and vulnerable children by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs through church based community programmes. They run 4 projects, a pre-school in Wingate, an orphanage called Shalom, a day centre for the children of women prisoners at Chikurubi Prison and a rural community at Binga.
The project is headed up by Dave and Helen Hobbs and Rephat Nyarenda . In August 2009, when in the UK, Dave and Helen gave JT and friends a presentation of their work. For more information, visit www.themichaelproject.org
