Caring for the elderly<\/h2>\n

The Borradaile Trust\u00a0is a home for the elderly, situated in Marondera, 70kms east of Harare.\u00a0 It was built by the Reverend and Mrs Borradaile Bell about 50 years ago.<\/p>\n

The warden is Mr Paul Davies and the trust has a management committee of volunteers.<\/p>\n

Because of the economic situation in Zimbabwe many of the elderly who live at the home have to rely on financial support from family and friends.\u00a0 We know of\u00a0a number of elderly people \u00a0who do not have this support and Jacaranda Trust raises funds to specifically help\u00a0support these people.<\/p>\n
